The forum, forum.sailfishos.org, should be the main channel for bug reports as the posts here are visible to everyone. This gives us in Jolla a better understanding of how common or wide-spread various problems/bugs/nuisances are, or how badly-wanted the new features proposed by the community are. And more than that, there are plenty of talented software experts willing to help you out from the trouble. In other words, the Forum is for technical problems. Please check that you would not file a duplicate post (while doing this you might already find an answer to your question).
NOTE: An increasing number of Android apps are implemented in the 64-bit architecture which is only supported by Xperia 10 II. Please make sure that you download 32-bit variants of the APKs for other devices.
An invalid warning and request to uninstall all system packages will appear if the previous OS version 4.0.1 is flashed to a device without installing the default Sailfish apps, followed by the download of the current OS version 4.1.0. This warning looks scary but it is just a warning. It should be okay to continue downloading and installing the OS update in the normal manner, i.e., you can ignore the warning. To avoid the warning, enabling the developer mode and running devel-su; pkcon refresh before downloading 4.1.0 may prevent the warning from appearing.
So keep your hard disks space free to download current image you like before a new one comes out. Hereby consuming unnecessarily bandwidth and disk space and power/energy not healthy for the planet. (okay, maybe worthless to express in times of streaming series and so on )

The Sailfish OS SDK was announced at the Slush Helsinki conference in 2012, and the alpha was published in February 2013.[16] The SDK, installation and coding tutorials are available for free download from the Sailfish OS website despite the overall license not being open source.[1]

Other Android apps stores or manually downloading and installing APKs is not recommended due the negative security implications: Downloading and installing apps from somewhere (specifcally "someone"), plus (when doing this manually) never being informed about their updates. If you really want to pursue this, start with the app ApkTrack from F-Droid.
Just in case someone else is planning to install it on the X, the following worked fine for me:I installed zypper from terminal and used the downloaded warehouse file."zypper install harbour-warehouse-0.3-30.armv7hl.rpm"
